The Standards and Accreditation Committee is excited to be distributing the proposed standard revisions for 2017. This past year we had our current Standards Manual reviewed by a third party, who compared our standards with those of the American Camping Association, the Ontario Camping Association, and the Association for Experiential Education. The proposed revisions reflect the suggestions put forward in the review, as well as concerns that have been raised by our members. Many of the proposed revisions are simply to consolidate and clarify our existing document. Our hope is that these revisions will serve you well as you continue to provide high quality camping experience to the youth of our province. 2017 Proposed Standards Revisions

Discussion regarding these proposed changes as well a budget/financial considerations and any other questions you might have will be open from 9:15 - 10:30am on the morning of the AGM at Gull Lake.

Each member camp who has active membership is allowed 1 vote at the AGM.
