Fall Camps Tour

The ACA Fall Camps Tour is a time of sharing ideas, learning from each other and building friendships with other camp professionals.  Each year we invite the membership of the ACA membership to come tour 2-3 camps in a particular region of Alberta.  The host camps give the guests a tour of their facilities showing how they run their programs, activities, kitchen, administration, fundraising efforts, and other daily operations.

Camp professionals have the opportunity to ask questions and share how they do things at their own camps.  Attendees leave Camps Tour with fresh ideas, new friends, and a strengthen network of like-minded people in the camping industry.

Fall Camps Tour 2015 Recap - Pigeon Lake Camps

The Alberta Camping Association had a great opportunity to tour two camps in the Pigeon Lake region:  Mulhurst Lutheran Church Camp and Covenant Bay Bible Camp.  We had about 16 people representing 7 camps from all over Alberta.

During this time participants were able to tell how they do things at their own camps, creating an atmosphere of sharing and brainstorming ideas. It is a community of helping each other advance the camping industry in Alberta.  Click here to view photos.

Thank you to both camps for your hospitality and for the great tours!
