Alberta Camping Association Membership

We are a not-for-profit organization and a community of camp professionals, seasonal employees, volunteers, and supporters of organized camping, committed to the highest standards of quality and safety for camp programs and facilities in Alberta.  Businesses that service camps and campers form our commercial membership.

Membership in the ACA is voluntary.  The categories of membership are: camp member, individual member, associate member, commercial member, student member, and honourary member. 

A camp must achieve ACA Accreditation to be a full-fledged camp member of the ACA. All mandatory standards are outlined in the 2009 Edition of the ACA Standards Manual (free for members to download from our website, or available for $40.00 from the ACA office).

There are currently 117 accredited camps in the province.
