Assistant Director Camp Warwa

$600/week plus accommodation on site
Camp Warwa has been providing unforgettable outdoor experiences for youth since 1980. Camp Warwa provides
experiences in the outdoors through many programs including year-round outdoor education programs, family camps,
leadership programs, and week long summer camps. Parents choose to send their children to Camp Warwa to grow as
individuals, our diverse programs, to build new friendships, and to have lasting outdoor experiences. Camp Warwa serves
over 9000 participants every year.
Who We Are Looking For:
If you are passionate about the development of youth as well as being a growth-oriented professional, this role would be a
great fit. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, have strong leadership skills, have a passion for nature, and have
previous camp leadership experience.
Assistant Directors work as a team to caretake the facility and staff, manage seasonal staff hiring, creating schedules for
clients and staff, communication with clients and staff, and ongoing program development.
Assistant Directors are members of our leadership team. This role is ideal for someone looking to move into a year-round
camp management role. Assistant Directors report directly to the Camp Director. Accommodation and most meals are
provided on site.
Applicants must have a Criminal Reference Check, Standard First Aid with CPR-C, and a valid driver’s license. Applicants
must have previous camp leadership experience or a post-secondary degree/diploma in a related area of study. CUI Level 2
and Paddle Canada Certifications are an asset.
