The Dates for our Virtual Camp Week are July 26 - July 30.

Camp Quality Alberta is a volunteer driven non-profit charitable organization that provides free uplifting camp experiences for children affected by cancer and blood disorders and their families. Camp Quality was brought to Canada in 1988, initiated by a group of dedicated volunteers in Southern Ontario. Since then, we’ve expanded to six camp locations across Canada. Due to COVID-19, our programs have gone virtual, to ensure the safety of our participants. Our virtual programs serve campers between the ages of 4 - 17 years of age, including siblings.

Our virtual summer camp program brings our typical in-person camp programs - the people, the activities and fun directly to our camp families in their homes. During a virtual summer camp week, campers join us online via Zoom for a week of virtual camp activities. Our year-round Camp Organizing Committee volunteers plan the schedule and activities for the week.

As a virtual program volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to participate alongside our campers; playing games, singing-songs, encouraging and cheering on our campers as they engage in the program. In this role, you’ll show up ready for fun. If you are interested in leading a pre-planned activity or have an activity that you’d like to lead during our virtual programs, we encourage you to indicate this on your volunteer application.

The awesome thing about virtual camp programs is that the time commitment can vary on your availability. A virtual summer camp program will be 5 days in length. You can volunteer every day, or 1 day. The choice is yours. In your volunteer application, note your availability.
