Standards & Accreditation

Members of the Alberta Camping Association are accredited every three years. The ACA Accreditation Coordinator will visit your camp and make sure the standards outlined in the most recent ACA Standards Manual are being met.

There is no reason to feel anxiety leading up to your visit. The ACA wants to advance and promote camps in Alberta. That means we are here to help you meet and exceed the ACA standards and look forward to meeting you and visiting your camp! We want to help all camps achieve accreditation.

To prepare for your visit make sure you review the newest ACA Standards Manual.  Knowing exactly what the Accreditation Specialist will be reviewing will help ensure a smooth and successful accreditation visit.
